  • July 9th: Katie Wright, former Executive Director of Better Boundaries and current ED of Utah Donor Collaborative. Bring a friend! Please arrive at 5:30pm for our speaker at 5:45pm.   • August 6th: Jackie at Elevate Utah will share information on what is happening right now in Utah politics the good, the bad and the ugly. Gabi, Jackie, and Ben of Elevate are trying to save Utah with a whiteboard and a dream. She might even bring the sticky notes!
  • September 3rd: Reed Galen, founder of The Union an independent action coalition of civically engaged volunteers committed to restoring the foundational principles of American democracy. Their goal is to establish a 50-state infrastructure to rebuild democracy, contest elections, and empower communities by showing up, participating, and driving local leadership.

Weekly Coffee Tawk & Community Connection
Gather to spend time getting to know each other, discussing issues, and brainstorm on how to make change together. We will share a few discussion topics but this is an informal gathering so no agenda other than building community ~ feel free to invite a friend for this more informal gathering.

Inaugural Salon - Monday August 11, 5-7pm kicks off our inaugural salon, an intimate gathering in a member's home with thoughtful discussion, shared learning and connection. Tana Toly, the only female Park City Council member, will join us to provide a window into the Council today. Learn more about the job function, challenges, requirements and concerns of a city council member. Tana is a local business owner with Park City family and roots. Please RSVP here if you can join us.

Park City Mayor Nann Worel Local Meet Ups
  • Old Town/Rossi HillAugust 16, 9:30–11:00 a.m. at the Old Town Neighborhood Park
  • Thaynes Canyon/Iron MountainSeptember 20, 9:30–11 a.m. at the Barn Trailhead (west of Meadows Dr. and S.R. 224)
Summit County Primary Municipal Election: August 12, 2025.
  • General Municipal Election: November 4, 2025.
Details on Specific Municipal Elections: *more info coming soon!
  • Coalville: A primary election will be held for the mayoral race to narrow the field of candidates, as well as for the council races to reduce the number of contenders.
  • Henefer: There will be a primary election for the mayoral race.
  • Francis: A mayor and two councilmembers will be elected. A primary for councilmembers will be held on August 12th, 2025, and the General Election on November 4th, 2025. These elections will be conducted entirely by mail.
  • Park City: Eight candidates have filed for two open council seats, which will be narrowed down in the primary election. (more info below)
  • Summit County Service Area #3: Elections will be held for the Board of Trustees on November 4th, 2025. There are three openings (one in upper Silver Creek and two in lower Silver Creek).
Important Notes:
  • Each municipality has the mayor and at least two council seats on the November 2025 ballot.
  • Municipal elections will have primaries if the number of candidates is more than double the number of available seats.
  • The deadline to register and receive a vote by mail ballot for the Primary Election is August 1, 2025.
Park City Mayor & City Council Elections for 84060 but 84098 is also affected!
Park City will elect a mayor and two city council members during the 2025 Municipal Election, which will be held November 4, 2025. Pursuant to state law, a Primary Election for the council seats will be held on August 12, 2025, since more than twice the number of candidates filed than are to be elected.
The mayor and each council member will serve a term of four (4) years. Currently holding the open mayoral seat is Nann Worel and the two open council seats are held by Tana Toly and Jeremy Rubell.

Citizens' Climate Lobby empowers everyday people to work with their community and their members of Congress on climate change solutions. Our supporters cover the political spectrum and work in more than 500 local chapters. Together, we’re building support for a national bipartisan solution to climate change.

Utah’s state legislature consists of two chambers: the Utah House of Representatives (lower house) and the Utah State Senate (upper house).
Utah House of Representatives
Number of Members: 75 representatives, each elected from a single-member district. • Term: 2 years, with no term limits. • Current Majority: Republican (61 seats), with Democrats holding 14 seats in the 2025–2026 session. • Leadership: • Speaker of the House: Mike Schultz (R, District 12) • Majority Whip: Karianne Lisonbee (R, District 14) • Minority Leader: Angela Romero (D, District 25) • Minority Whip: Jennifer Dailey-Provost (D, District 22) A full list of representatives and their districts can be found on the official Utah House of Representatives website or in the Wikipedia entry for the Utah House of Representatives.
